Practicing in Hilo, HI. Call for an integrated medical massage session resulting in less discomfort. Her Ethics Class is approved for 3 CE credit hours.
Nancy is also an approved NCBTMB provider for continuing education. A business class is in the making and she is available for mentoring as well.
I just found out I was accepted to present my "Wash" series at the Abstract Show over at the Wailoa Arts Center. Below is the link to all the upcoming shows. This is a fabulous gallery and one of Hilo's gems. Join me for the opening reception on Friday, August 2nd from 5-7. This isn't my first show - it is the first in forever and it's great to be back in the saddle. You can like or follow the bouncing ball on my Campbell Creations page.

Very excited to attend another Wild Women Hawai'i retreat right here on Big Island. Nothing like a little me-time to recharge the batteries. This time, I get to lead a hike. How fun! Time in the woods is so therapeutic and we'll have a personal chef making healthy meals too. Bonus!
What are you doing this summer for self-care and battery recharging? I'd love to hear!
Happy June everyone! Spring vacay is over, and I didn't have to report for Jury Duty (this time.) Hopefully some normalcy will resume!

Always like to help provide resources...
Lymphedema Resources for Patients Lymphedema Resources for Patients
Just finished my "Assessing & Managing Lymphatic Diseases" class over on O'ahu. Always feels good to expand my knowledge and service I provide to my clients. This was NOT a class that certifies me in manipulating lymph drainage or diagnosing. I AM able to do general lymph clearing for wellness and post-acute injury purposes and help educate my clients to look out for the warning signs.
Lymphatic care is so misunderstood - this includes in our general medical community. Only oncologists and physical therapists are really grasping the full picture. The insurance companies don't fully recognize lymphedema and all that it involves as a legitimate medical concern and often refers to it as cosmetic.
Louise is on a mission to bring more awareness to Lymphedema and to lymph work done by bodyworkers on the "front lines." I'm honored to be part of her journey and helping spread the word of wellness. To be a certified Lymphatic Therapist, I'd have to take a lot more class hours and more training in order to actually manipulate and work with folks who are coping with chronic Lymphedema. We'll see how this all unfolds. I do appreciate the power of uber specific but less invasive work to the body and how that knowledge feeds our self-care. Really wish I had learned a fraction of what I have learned as an LMBT long ago. Health and Wellness needs to be brought back into the schools and more importantly into the homes.
Currently working on a Lymphatics home study course, then flying to HNL in April to do the hands-on portion. Geek out!
Just got my attunement/initiation in Reiki III. I feel a layer of completeness.
Ok 2023, all pau.
Enjoying a little time off to regroup. See you on the 26th! Feel free to self-book an appointment if needed - it's available 24/7.
I have always recorded my daily sessions and AR info. I was licensed in 2004. Since 2009 or 10, I have done over 8,000 massage hours. Somewhere I'd have to find my old logs from before my private practice to get an actual count to date. No wonder Belle is tired.
Practice self-care with the storm passing through. Looks like the maunas have helped us out once again and pushed Calvin south of us. We still have wind and rain and there's probably going to be flooding in some areas. Be safe, be mindful, and always be awesome.

With Spring comes renewal. I have completed my "homework" before my first coaching call with Conduit for Change, LLC on the 19th. At 29-ish I was in commercial printing and swam into more marketing roles (and finished a marriage.) When I turned 39 I went into Massage Therapy, and at 49 The Spirit of Learning and teaching/mentoring more. Now I'm excited to put energy into me and my business as I approach my 59th birthday later this month. Investing in self at milestone birthdays is a great way to keep the good ju ju going!
So nice to network face to face again! A sip n paint for local business owners sponsored by the Chamber. A fun way to get to know each other!
The snooze alarm workout - you got to move it, move it!
Kapaemahu. These four stones represent the four legendary mahu from Tahiti who brought healing to Hawai’i centuries ago. Kapaemahu is the name of their leader who transferred their healing power to these stones. Mahu is someone with both male & female spirits, which makes them more powerful as a healer. They were very respected and honored in Hawaiian society. Have you watched the Kapaemahu PBS short animated film?

I knew of the story, but not the stones. People are people no matter their x's and y's. Be a valuable human to your community.

Have been coming across more of Oliver's work as of late and this one really spoke to the new year (and life in general.) All we can do is lead an authentic life, do our best, relish/love the company we keep, and enjoy what life brings. Sing your song.
Also... this made me think of John Lee Ho**er when he sings/preaches "Boogie Children."
Love starting our new year with this favorite by Mary Oliver 💜
Merry Christmas from Belle n Skelly! (And Nancy too)

Happy Halloween!
There's more, but this is a good start!!!
One of the biggest things I do as a Licensed Massage Therapist, is educate my clients, therefore educating the public. I'm looking forward to talking to the Hilo Woman's Club as a Guest Speaker: Nancy Campbell for their upcoming meeting on 10/25. I'll be talking about how patterns in our daily life can create aches, pains, and strains. Then I get to talk to Hawaii Island Chamber of Commerce on 11/3 where we'll talk about "The Wellness of your WHY" how our wellness choices effect our businesses and how we do business. It's fun to be the nerd!
Belle has a new coworker - he's a "royal" pain in her butt and has boundary issues. We're working it out though.
3rd Quarter is almost done. Let me just throw out there that a package of 3 would help you stress-bust the rest of 2022 with a session a month. A package of 6 could help you stress-bust AND gift some well-deserved massages to friends and family. Oh, and a package of 12 would would turbo your holidays into a wellness wonderland!
