Taking advantage of some downtime while some clients are away this week and becoming a Certified PEERS provider. PEERS is an evidence based social skills program for adolescents and young adults. Can’t wait to share this knowledge with clients!

We’re almost one month into the school year! Is your tween/teen starting to be bothered by the way words sound when they talk?

🔹Speech sound development is different for everyone but by 3rd or 4th grade all consonant sounds should be generally acquired.

🔹If your child is noticing they don’t make all their sounds accurately, reach out to a local speech pathologist. We can test their articulation and see if they can benefit from articulation therapy.
