Last fall, we opened Assembly Test Kitchen and were welcomed so graciously by our community. We brought in amazing brands, launched our monthly cookbook club, and enjoyed so many in-store conversations.

In November we partnered with my family’s restaurant, Zaftigs, which, in hindsight, seems to have been a bit of foreshadowing. Opportunity and circumstance converged in March that led to me rejoining the family biz in an exciting role. This has prompted me to make the bittersweet decision to wind down ATK. I’m back in the kitchen full time where I belong (according to Matt, at least), and we will be closing ATK permanently on June 29th.

What will we do with the ATK space? Later this summer, 88 North Street in Hingham will transition to just a women’s store, with men’s down the street at 24 North. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
