A few examples of these disorders include Cerebrovascular accident (CVA) or stroke, multiple scleroses, spinal cord injuries and Parkinson's Disease.
Many of these diseases have profound effects on strength, balance and coordination. Our therapists work with patients to develop a treatment program to both improve mobility deficits and to educated to adaptive devices that can both improve mobility and safety.
All our clinics provide individualized treatment plans based on your needs. Instead of relying on machines and gym equipment, we believe your body needs to learn to use its own muscles to stabilize itself. That makes your recovery more natural, safe, and productive.

Happy Thanksgiving from Hingham Physical Therapy 🦃 🧡 🍂 🙏🏼
Our Hingham location currently provides treatment which includes education, pelvic floor strengthening, and bladder programs. A private pay option that we offer is called the EMSELLA. The EMSELLA is a chair which uses electromagnetic impulses to contract the pelvic floor muscles. Patients sit fully dressed and let the chair do the work. The EMSELLA chair elicits over 1,400 pelvic floor contractions in one 28 minute session. Six sessions is the overall recommended treatment plan with periodic follow up session.
