Happy First Day of Preschool Zion Lutheran ECEC! 🍎❤️ Welcome back from the 2s, 3s & 4s teaching teams and the Administrative team. We’re so happy to be back and see all your lovely faces again today! ✏️📚🚸✝️

This year, we’re excited to introduce new Religious Education Classes for 1st & 2nd graders alongside our existing classes for 3rd-6th graders. In addition, we continue to offer Lutheran confirmation classes for 7th & 8th grade students taught by our new Interim Pastor Ron Rock. Mrs. Debbie Berg, a dedicated member and longtime Zion ECEC teacher, has graciously agreed to lead the 1st & 2nd grade class.
To ensure a smooth start to the school year, we kindly request registration of your children, with a new nominal fee to cover material, staff, and project costs. Additionally, children in our religious education classes will have the opportunity to volunteer for community service projects and as greeters and acolytes during services throughout the year. Stay tuned for more details on how to sign up.

📅 Day/Time: Wednesdays beginning September 11th, 4-5pm
🏫 Location: Zion Lutheran Church, 204 S Grant St., Hinsdale, IL
💵 Cost: $50 per child for the year | $100 cap per family ($10 off per child for Zion members)
🌟 Scholarships Available: No child will be turned away due to financial constraints.

Volunteer Opportunities: The classes will complete a few volunteer service projects throughout the year as well as have opportunities to sign up to be greeters and acolytes in church.

All families are welcome to join us for Sunday morning worship at Zion at 9:30am! Kids might make noise or need to move, but please never feel embarrassed or let that keep you from coming to church. Jesus loves having them here, and so do we!
Depending on their age, kids might not sit through the entire service, and that’s okay. Encourage them to participate in standing, praying, or singing. Help them observe the colors, images, and movements during worship.
And lastly, if your child needs a break, there’s a private quiet room at the back left of the sanctuary where you can still see and hear the service.
