I’m sorry that you gave all of your time and effort to people that didn’t give the same amount back. I’m sorry that there were nights when you cried yourself to sleep and no one bothered to understand why. And I am so sorry that I did not love you Like you deserved to be loved.

Today marks 6 years, with an aggressive treatment plan, for an aggressive cancer,
I CHOSE (with God’s direction) that I am CANCER FREE!!!! I am grateful for everyday I get. So many…do not get the opportunity I have been given.

Watching my husband die with cancer and then experiencing it first hand, 6 years later, the choices you have to make…to save your life, they are not easy ones. It changes you in ways, you will never understand, until you go through it yourself.
