Airboat operator training Tonight firefighters are practicing airboat operations, getting familiar with the airboat operations, equipment, and its abilities. Tonight's evolutions were practiced in an open field with natural obstacles, mole hills, valleys, and marsh area firefighters were able to gain familiarity feathering throttle and rudder to steer the boat on inclines, around stationary objects and rugged terrain.
