😎ISF SUMMER CAMP IS HERE!😎

🌟Summer camp sessions will begin this Monday, July 1st at Bayport-BluePoint high school from 12:30pm to 3:30pm on the days in which your athlete is scheduled for.

☀️Please remember to bring a snack (peanut free) and water bottle each day and please apply sunscreen to your athlete PRIOR to dropping off at camp.

🌟Hello ISF Families!🌟

We will be scheduling annual evaluations ahead of time in order to ensure we stay on track with completing one eval per year for each athlete. Every athlete in our program is required to have consistent evaluations done in order for us to track their progress and monitor their goals. Below are the time slots we have available, however each time slot has limited spots available. Please let us know what works for you and we will confirm if the spot is still available.

June Slots:
Friday the 14th at 3:30
Friday the 21st at 3:30
Friday the 28th at 3:30

July Slots:
Fridays 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th at 11am and 12pm

August:
2nd and 9th at 11am and 12 pm

August 12th, 13th and 14th
- 11 am
- 12 pm
- 1 pm
- 2 pm

🔆We would like to organize an evening where we will have a guest speaker and panel of experts on OPWDD to discuss the steps in getting through the “Front Door” process, Self-Direction, guardianship and Social Security. We are proud to announce that ISF will be hosting the 4th annual community autism event on Sunday, April 28th. This event is free to the community. Come bring out the kids to meet local police, fire and EMS workers!

Members of the NYPD and the Suffolk Sheriff Hockey teams will be on site facilitating/differentiated deck hockey (sticks will be provided) ...come check out our expanded space that allows for such activities!

Additional Services at the event:

* Operation Safe Child ID Cards: Operation Safe Child was created in July of 2005 to raise awareness about child safety. Statistics show that 34% of parents in the United States do not know their child’s exact height, weight, and eye color. When a child is reported missing, time can be the biggest factor in finding the child. Possessing up-to-date photographs with detailed information about the child can greatly assist law enforcement when responding to a disappearance. These cards contain the child’s full name, date of birth, gender, height, weight, hair color, eye color, and more. The card is made in less than ten minutes and can be carried in the parent’s wallet or pocketbook. Operation Safe Child ID Cards are offered by the Sheriff’s Office free of charge.

*Yellow Dot Program - The Yellow Dot program assists citizens during the most critical times of emergency care - following a traffic crash - when they may not be able to communicate their needs themselves. Placing a Yellow Dot decal in your vehicle's rear window alerts first responders to check your glove compartment for vital information to ensure you receive the medical attention you need.
