Worried about keeping your baby warm from their fingers to their toes? When it's cold, bundling up with extra blankets can seem cozy but soft bedding can block a baby's airway and create an unsafe sleep environment. Wearable blankets, sleep sacks, and onesies are a safe alternative!

Each child reaches milestones at their own pace. But if you’re getting concerned that your child isn’t making friends at preschool, there are a few things you can do to help.
First, connect with the preschool staff. They may have some insights into the classroom dynamic that are affecting your child’s social development. Together, you may be able to come up with a few strategies to build more friendship connections.
Next, help them learn how to express their emotions. There could be a reason they aren’t connecting. Be sure to ask about this at a time and place when they feel safe and comfortable opening up.
Third, role-play with your child. By helping them to understand different emotions and scenarios like sharing toys, taking turns, and resolving conflicts, they’ll be prepared to do the same with their peers.
If your child continues to face challenges, talk with your pediatrician about additional ways to support their emotional wellbeing. Read the full blog on developing friendships at https://bit.ly/3RWA9uw

Positive parenting ❤️!
Positive Parenting Tip: Tell your child why they can’t do something and give them a choice of what they CAN do instead. For example, “You can’t jump on the bed because I don’t want you to get hurt, but do you want to dance?”

Avoid taking medications in front of children and keep them locked away in a safe place. Kids love to mimic what they see adults do.
