Welcome to Altered Designs, a vibrant artisan shop nestled in the 💗 of downtown Holly. We pride ourselves on offering a curated selection of handcrafted goods made by local artists. From unique jewelry to home décor, each item tells a story of creativity and passion.

**Position:** Student Intern
✨✨ We have had 6️⃣ local student interns so far!
It is a PAID internship 🙌

**Description:**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic intern to join our team. As a Student Intern, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of local artisans and gain hands-on experience in retail management, customer service, and marketing. This position is ideal for someone passionate about arts and crafts, retail, and community engagement.

**Responsibilities:**
- Assist with daily shop operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service, helping customers find unique artisan products
- Assist in inventory management
- product displays & vignettes
- Support marketing efforts, including social media management and content creation
- Help plan and execute in-store events and workshops
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shop
- Learn to restore furniture

**Qualifications:**
- Strong interest in arts, crafts, and local artisans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
