Happy December 1st!! I love using my vintage holiday finds in my home! This fabulous vintage wreath is made out of stained glass! The light strand was faulty when I purchased so I got to work replacing it with mini zip ties and a new strand. Now she twinkles and shines and is the festive star of my cocktail table! Putz churches have landed in booth 26 at Livingston Antique Outlet! Did you know…In the late 1800s the cardboard Christmas Putz houses were actually candy boxes. The name for Putz houses came from the German word “putzen” which means to clean or to decorate. The name Putz was acquired by little houses that were placed around the nativity scene for Christmas decorations in the early 1900s. They soon evolved when manufacturing (mainly in Japan) decided to add holes to the back of them to accommodate C6 lightbulbs. They have been collected for years to come! I’ll be adding more houses over the next week! Stop in and snag these before they’re gone!

The Vintage Woolrich Gang was dropped off in booths 26 & 74 at Livingston Antique Outlet this week.
Did you know that Woolrich was established in 1830? They introduced the famous buffalo check shirt in 1850. They also provided Union soldiers with wool blankets during the civil War and supplied wool blankets, socks and clothes to American soldiers during WWII. They remain a supplier to the US Armed Forces for 150 years. These wool button downs are All in fabulous condition! My favorite is the red and green plaid, clearly making a holiday statement. Stop in and try one on! Perfect for this time of the year and would make a great holiday gift too! Happy Shopping!

Who has their Christmas tree up already!? I’m eager to put mine up but the two kittens that have been adorably terrorizing our house, make me a little leery that they will tear it down in no time. Decisions, decisions. I need to come up with a solution soon! Until then, I am so happy that I get to be festive and decorate both of my booths at Livingston Antique Outlet for the holidays. Farewell to Holly and all of my Farm House Family at The Vintage Farm House. Thank you so much for being a catalyst for my vintage addiction and beginning of my Vintage Vendor Experience. Started out clueless, on a little wall upstairs and finished with confidence downstairs.
