August first marks the first harvest festival of the year,
Lughnasadh! 🍄‍🟫 🌽 🍂

This is the season of harvesting what you have sowed earlier in the year, and allowing past versions of self to die away. We’re slowly entering the season of introspection. You may be perceiving a slowing down, changing course, or urge to get “back on a routine”.

We’re welcoming in the harvest season with a class special. 8 classes for $88. 6 month expiration date. Available in studio or online. Ends midnight August 2nd. May your harvest be sweet friends!

We’ll meet you on your mat.

07/29/2024

And incase no one has told you. You were never meant to hold all these difficulties on your own. 💕

We hope you come to yoga this week. We’ll carry our burdens together, it makes them less heavy.

07/24/2024

If it’s out of your control it deserves space from your mind.

Come to yoga, we’ll create the space together. 🌬️

How to Be Human — Ethos 07/23/2024

How to Be Human — Ethos  How to BeHuman There was a time when people would gather and celebrate rites of passage. The turning of the wheel. The returning of the light. The sacred harvest. The cry of a hawk. The return of the herds. We would oil the feet of an expectant mother. Braid the hair with feathers for a girl's fir...

07/14/2024

Scratch out “unwanted”, replace with difficult.
All emotion holds information and is worth our attention and curiosity. There is no “good” or “bad” it just is.

The outward physical benefits of intentional movement only scratches the surface, it goes so much deeper than that. 🦋🩵🌸💕

Which classes are you taking this week?
We’ll meet you on your mat.

07/09/2024

I’ll see and hold you in the full expression of who you are. Even the darker scarier spaces you don’t let the world see often. And I know you’ll hold me too.

This is Community. Real community, where the mask can be taken off & expectations set down. A basic human need. 🌷

Come to yoga this week. Let’s explore these spaces together.

Welcome March 🦋
Happy shift of the season ethos family.
March brings the equinox, and the beginning of a new cycle. Spring is all about sowing seeds, new beginnings, and cleansing our bodies from the stagnancy of winter. This is shown to us by the first sprouts of bitter green shoots, and blood builders. Plant gifts such as nettle, cleavers, chickweed and dandelion.

Movement is an important part of this detoxification process as well. Sometimes it’s difficult to emerge from our winter dens, go slow. The warmth of the yoga room is waiting for you, to sit with intention what you wish to grow moving into the warmer season.

We hope to see you soon! 🌱
No matter how long it’s been, you can always begin again. You are held here.
