Happy Holidays to our friends and supporters!

Vitek and I haven't been in touch recently because we have been sorting out our options for 2023. We now have clarity and are very excited to share with you what we are planning. Due to the "perfect storm" of Covid, staffing issues and increased costs everywhere, we were forced to look at our existing structure and all the challenges. We have come up with a strategy to move forward in a way that helps deal with those issues.

As of January 1, 2023 Gateway City Arts will be an event venue only. What this means is that Judd's will only be open when we have events in any or all of the spaces. We are programming extensively now in the Divine Theater and the Race Street Live Music Hall. Not only will we focus on music- both National touring bands and more local music- but we are continuing with our monthly events like Drag Bingo, Nerd Night, Open Decks, Poetry Night, etc. DSP will continue to produce larger concerts and we are talking with other promoters about booking the spaces. In addition we are exploring karaoke, trivia, children's programming, and other events.

We are looking forward to booking private parties, weddings, corporate retreats, etc. We have full catering capabilities for any of these and other private events!

Another exciting change is WE ARE BRINGING BACK SUNDAY BRUNCH! GCA will be bustling on Sundays! Our Bazaar is opening on Jan. 23- free and open to the public. Vendors will rent a table and can sell crafts, clothes, collectibles, etc. It will run from 10-2. Sunday brunch will start in early February and we are programming early afternoon events as well. Stay tuned for details!

We appreciate all your support over the last year and look forward to lots more fun, music, creativity and community in 2023!
