Holyoke restaurant businessman Rafael Fernandez passes away at 71 Well-known Holyoke businessman Rafael Fernandez has passed away at the age of 71 following a battle with esophageal cancer.
Attention friends,
Services for our beloved father Rafael Fernandez are as follows:
Wake will be on Thursday, February 8th from 3-7 p.m. at The Barry J. Farrell funeral home located on 2049 Northampton St. Holyoke.
Funeral mass will be on Friday 2/9 at 10 a.m. at St. Jerome's Parish located at 169 Hampden St. in Holyoke. Burial to follow at Saint Jerome Cemetery on Northampton St. in Holyoke.

We are deeply saddened to inform that our warrior and Patriarch of our family Rafael "Rafo" Fernandez was called to be with our Lord and Savior early this morning after a courageous battle in which he was NEVER, defeated.
 Thank you for the immense love, prayers and support we have received during this difficult time.
In his honor, please do something kind for anyone that may be in need, as this is what he enjoyed to do the most.
Please respect our privacy as we grieve as a family. Arrangements are to follow.
