Give a warm welcome to Kalli Trawick, our newest Plan Designer, and Katelyn Zinn, our summer intern! Kalli recently graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Interior Design and Katelyn is studying architecture and interior architecture at Auburn University.

Get to know a little bit more about them with a fun Q&A:
1. Are you a night owl or an early bird?
Kalli: An early bird!
Katelyn: I am an early bird often and only a night owl when I have to be, otherwise I’m usually in bed by 10.
2. Where are you from?
Kalli: Destin, FL
Katelyn: Birmingham, AL
3. In the words of Chris Stapleton, what are you listening to?
Kalli: All things Taylor Swift!
Katelyn: Call me basic but if I’m listening to anything it’s probably Taylor Swift. Or a podcast, my favorite being the WOAH That’s Good podcast by Sadie Robertson! 
4. What led you to work in this field?
Kalli: What led me to work in this field is my love for painting and drawing...which led me to the design world. It’s a perfect mix of using creativity and problem solving.
Katelyn: I am currently double majoring in Architecture and Interior Architecture at Auburn University! I chose to pursue this major because I have always been on the creative side and am very attentive to details. I love developing designs that incorporate well thought out form and function. 
5. If you could quickly and easily learn any new skill, what would it be?
Kalli: It would have to be to play an instrument...specifically the piano! 
Katelyn: It would probably be how to play the guitar. 
6. Describe your dream project.
Kalli: My dream project would have to be designing a custom home in the mountains!
Katelyn: My dream project would be a renovation of a house on a beach in Hawaii. 
7. What do you like to do outside of work?
Kalli: I love reading, going on morning runs, and baking/cooking! 
Katelyn: I love to workout, read, and enjoy time with friends and family. 
8. List three items on your bucket list.
Kalli: Skydiving, running a marathon, and going abroad! 
Katelyn: Visiting the Sydney Opera House in Australia, taking a hot air balloon ride, and becoming a licensed architect!
