Our final mahalo for goes to our very own Hawaiʻi Conservation Alliance and Foundation staff (as pictured from left to right: Emma Anders, Isabella Margerin, Tara Meggett, Kate Brittain, and Amberly Pigao).
Our small but mighty team work hard year-round and on top of their other projects to plan HCC! Without this amazing staff team, would not have been the successful and engaging event it was this year. We are proud to say that this year was also the biggest Hawaiʻi Conservation Conference yet with over 1,500 attendees!
As staff, we are so grateful to be able to do the work we do and bring together such a diverse group of scientists, policymakers, conservation practitioners, educators, students and community members from Hawaiʻi and the Pacific!
Mahalo nui loa!
As we continue to thank all our partners, staff, and participants of , our next mahalo goes out to the Hawaiʻi Conservation Alliance Steering Committee!
The Alliance Steering Committee (SC) is made up of representatives from each of the Alliance's member organizations. These committee members help in the planning of HCC from theme development and abstract reviews, to plenary speaker coordination and more! Members of the Alliance SC include Kupu, National Tropical Botanical Garden, The Nature Conservancy, Army Natural Resource Program Oʻahu, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, and many more!
We are so grateful to have such an incredibly motivated and dedicated group of SC members who help us make HCC happen every year!
