It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we said goodbye this morning to our dear friend, comedian Kenny Johnson. Kenny began his Comedy career at the Hollywood Improv back in the 90βs. In 2007 Kenny and his wife Vicky moved to Hawaii and Kenny became a part of our Sharkeyβs Comedy Club Ohana. Kenny performed at our Sheraton Princess Kaiulani and Hale Koa Hotel shows for over 15 years as well as many private events. In 2008, Kenny and I won the Last Comic Standing Hawaii showcase and traveled together for the finals in LA, a funny story that I told on stage & we mutually talked about for years. Kenny was also a successful business owner, operating his own Blind Vendor Store at Camp Smith up until becoming ill a few months ago. On behalf of myself, Wanda Shipp, Eddie & Charlotte Sax, οΏΌMicheal & Angela Vasquez, Michael & Pam Staats and all the comics that worked at our club over the years, Kenny we send you off with much Aloha, rest in peace my friendπ€πΌπΊ
