This past Friday, our team spent the morning at Kuli‘ou‘ou Beach Park, joining forces with Tradewind Group and Mālama Maunalua to help restore and conserve beautiful Maunalua Bay.
Our volunteers worked hard to remove invasive alien algae, contributing to the preservation of our precious marine ecosystem. Your efforts are a testament to our commitment to making a positive impact in our community.

Atlas Insurance Agency joined Tradewind Group's Wellness Boot Camp Kick-Off, a summer-long event dedicated to promoting health and wellness in the workplace.
It was inspiring to see so many companies coming together to share knowledge and resources on living healthier lives. A highlight of the event was the smoothie bicycle where employees could create their own smoothie using pedal power. Here's to a healthier and happier workplace!

We hosted our first community outreach event, "Safety Summit: Navigating OSHA Standards in 2024," at the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii.
This event launches our initiative to support Hawaii’s business community with expert discussions on OSHA compliance. The two-hour seminar covered:
- OSHA importance for small businesses in Hawaii
- Hawaii’s most cited standards and injury reporting
- Compliance spotlight on the inspection process and OSHA & HIOSH citations.
Presenters included Joey Barroso, Tracie Akai, and Nathan Nakasone from Atlas Insurance Agency.

We celebrated Sharon Hodson's retirement last week Friday! Over the last 20+ years at Atlas Insurance, Sharon has been a constant source of laughter, guidance and industry wisdom. Her retirement party was complete with a karaoke performance by her department, touching tributes, and a mislabeled retirement cake!
