What are Best Areas to live if you are going to UH Manoa (Oahu)

The University of Hawaii has several campuses across the state, including the main campus in Manoa (Oahu), Hilo (Hawaii Island), and campuses on Maui and Kauai. The best neighborhoods for University of Hawaii students to live in will vary depending on which campus you are attending. I'll provide some general information for the Manoa campus on Oahu, which is the largest and most well-known campus.

For University of Hawaii at Manoa (Oahu):

Manoa: The neighborhood surrounding the Manoa campus is a popular choice for students. It offers a convenient location, with many rental options, including apartments and shared housing. Manoa is known for its lush greenery and is a quieter, more residential area compared to downtown Honolulu.

Moiliili: Moiliili is located just south of the Manoa campus and is another popular choice for students. It's a vibrant neighborhood with plenty of rental options, restaurants, and shops. It's also relatively close to campus and has good bus connections.

Makiki: Makiki is located to the west of the Manoa campus and is a more urban neighborhood. It offers a mix of apartments and condos, making it a convenient option for students who prefer city living. It's a short drive or bus ride to campus.

Palolo: Palolo is a bit farther from campus but still offers affordable housing options for students. It's a quieter and more residential area compared to some of the more urban neighborhoods.

Kaimuki: Kaimuki is located to the south of the Manoa campus and is known for its eclectic mix of shops and restaurants. It's a bit farther from campus but still accessible by bus.

For the other campuses of the University of Hawaii (Hilo, Maui, Kauai), you'll want to research the specific housing options and neighborhoods available near those campuses, as the recommendations may differ based on location.
