We are so grateful to our Senior Warden, Dr. Randy Furushima, for the excellent forums he taught on the Gospel of Mark these past August Sundays. This coming Sunday, September 1, there will be no forum after the High Mass, but on September 8 we have the first Marian Talk of the season sponsored by our parish Guild of the Annunciation. Please join us as we explore the Jewish Roots of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Before and after - this week at the church spalling work has been happening in the background. It is work that most people will not see, but nevertheless is crucial. Our mid-century modern gem of a church is not so modern anymore. Consecrated in 1954, she is holding up well overall for being 70 years old!

It has been a busy week of color changes - red on Monday, white on Tuesday and Wednesday, and green for Thursday. Join us on July 4 for a Votive Mass for the Nation at 12:00 noon.

Within the past week we have celebrated the Feasts of Saint Peter and Saint Paul, the Most Precious Blood, and the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Check out our YouTube Channel to learn more and revisit these wonderful feasts.

Four chosen to stand for election as 28th presiding bishop The Episcopal Church’s Joint Nominating Committee for the Election of the Presiding Bishop today announced the names of the bishops it will nominate to succeed Presiding Bishop Michael Curry.
