A warm up at the 2023 Kalakaua Merrie Mile worked for Geordie Beamish 👏
The New Zealander clocks an indoor 1500m personal best of 3:36.54 and wins gold at the indoor world champs in Glasgow.

The 2024 King’s Runner 10K is in one week’s time on March 3. Starts at Thomas Square, Honolulu. Online registration closes tomorrow, Monday 😮

We were so fortunate to have them run in Honolulu only two months ago. Yared won the Kalakaua Merrie Mile in Waikiki in his first ever road mile race!

Rest in Peace Kiptum.
We are hugely saddened by the death of Kelvin Kiptum and his coach Gervais Hakizimana in a car accident in Kenya.
Kiptum was only 24 and a once in a generation athlete. The running community has lost a great man and supreme athlete.
