The Ala Moana Rotary Club meets Thursdays at 12:00 pm HST to 1:00 pm HST at The Pacific Club.

What a fantastic evening at our first π of the new Rotary year! A huge mahalo to our Club Membership Chair Jamie Apuna for organizing a memorable at . Members enjoyed delicious food, refreshing drinks and great company. It was a night of reconnecting, making new friends, and celebrating our commitment to service and fun. Great Saturday collaboration with the Rotary Club of Ala Moana, Rotary Club of Windward Oahu (Lanikai), and the University of Hawaii English Language Program. We volunteered weeding and watering at the Honolulu Zoo Children's Discovery Project and learned about "canoe plants" and endemic plants.

Helped out our adopted Lunalilo Elementary School on Saturday assembling furniture at the Hawk's Nest, a place where students can just chill out and refocus during the school day, as needed. Rotarians Rich Courson, Kevin McCrary, Scott Sonoda & Josie Abawag worked on benches with a cool water feature.
Compass agents Charissa Toyooka and Uta Rainaltor reprised their role installing vinyl stickers to the stairs.
Community service chair Lani Paet cleaned the vinyl and served as photographer of the day.
The first meeting of 2024 welcomes our newest member, Josie Abawag, whose classification is HR Staffing. Josie is a proud Rotarian sponsored by Scott Sonoda.
Our Rotary Club of Ala Moana was at Walmart this past weekend supporting the Salvation Army annual kettle drive. Keep those bells ringing!

Ala Moana Rotary club's Annual Santa Clothes shopping spree for Lunalilo elementary kids (imagine spending $100 each! Boy, were they happy!). The Rotary Club of Hickam Pearl Harbor, the Sunrise Rotary, and Compass agents were there to support our club.
