Work your glutes and abs with this one exercise to give you better posture, more explosive power in your movements and much needed strength to your pelvic floor and abdominals. Three-legged dog to knee-to-elbow, knee-to-chest, knee-to-opposite arm: ✅start in down dog ✅drive your Right leg up until you feel a tight squeeze in your right glute. Use the power in your glutes to drive the leg higher and higher ✅pull your abs in tight to your spine ✅pull the right knee to your right elbow. Hold 2 sec. ✅pull the right knee into your chest, chin, or nose. Hold 2 sec. ✅pull the right knee across to your left elbow. Hold 2 sec. ✅drive the leg back up to the sky using lots of glute power to lift as high as you can ✅Do 10 repetitions ✅Repeat on the other side #hawaiipelvictherapy #pelvicfloor #pelvicfloorphysicaltherapy

Down Dog to Lunge Pose Strong transitions between yoga poses require and promote good abdominal strength and coordination. If you are not engaging your abdominal muscles or lack the strength to, you will find yourself scooting your foot up awkwardly to achieve the full pose.
