Toddler Time at Kahala Mall was a hit with the keiki! The kids had fun doing a balloon sight word activity, tracing activities, and of course dancing paired with read alouds.

We held a September Reading Challenge with Kamehameha Preschool parents. read to her child nearly every day of the month 🙌🏻. The prize was a read aloud at her daughter’s classroom with books and treats!

Read To Me International’s Haku Mo’olelo Program- A Children’s Author is Born

Haku Mo’olelo program participant, Lois Kim, has released her new book, “Mommy Loves You”. This touching story is beautifully conceived and illustrated. No matter what happens in life, your Mommy will always love you! It is available at Barnes & Noble, Amazon, and select book stores.

Lois successfully completed the Haku Mo’olelo program, geared toward teaching incarcerated parents the importance of reading aloud to their children. Along the way, participants are coached in creating and publishing their own stories. Lois took it a step further and and is embarking on a new career!
