J.J. Dolan's—big John Wilbur fans—were our generous hosts as we raucously celebrated the epic life of the man, the myth and the legend. Aloha.

Thanksgiving day, 2013, we got the call. Doctors didn't expect John Wilbur to finish the day but they didn't know John Wilbur. Beyond all medical intervention and explanation, Wilbur was, once again, defying the odds and surpassing expectations. He lived and was loved by his friends and family for the next 14 days, 2 weeks of Wilbur. Now it's our turn. Carry the memory of John Wilbur upfield with intent. Say his name, raise a glass, and remember the great man.

Grateful I got to share the last 25 Thanksgivings with John Wilbur. He was with us again today, in spirit. Set a place for him at the table with his traditional turkey. Love you and miss you something fierce Wilbur.

On November 26th last year, Thanksgiving morning, the doctors gave Wilbur 20 minutes to live without life support. They didn't know Wilbur. He lived for 2 more weeks. Friends and Family of Wilbur, join us this Thanksgiving by remembering him, saying his name, telling a Wilbur story everyday until December 9th. We keep his memory alive in our hearts and with our words. Go John Wilbur!

Wilbur challenged Arnold to tennis. Wilbur won (crippled knees and all). Arnold stayed on the court and practiced for the next 2 hours. Fun times in Hyannisport, MA! Go Wilbur!
