Some of Na'au relationships go back to Uncle Mel's years teaching at Radford High School. This is one of those special families who have become 'ohana to us. You know it's time to retire soon when we're teaching the children of the students we once taught as public school teachers. We love you Breanna and family! 🤗
We were so fortunate to have many of our students return to Na‘au as our teachers--Alyssa contributed to the success of our Summer Institute 2019 program in many, many ways.
Forever 'ohana because of Na'au.
Mahalo nui for your support of our Treasure Hunt!
Treasure Hunt at Na'au in progress now until 2:00 p.m. Please join us!
Saying mahalo to all current and former employees and their 'ohana at Na'au as we get ready for our Treasure Hunt tomorrow. Aunty Lois and Uncle Mel are pictured here with Na'au's first webmaster and IT guru, our loving Aunty Claire.

Mahalo for your aloha through the years, especially as we return to our roots as a school of writing like we were when we first opened 20 years ago, but now weʻll be exclusively offering our classes online via Zoom. Email us at [email protected] for more information.
May 15, 2020: Welina me ke aloha! Naʻau has made the difficult decision to remain physically closed up until May 31, 2020, but available online via Zoom. All current students have been sent an email with more information about our limited online classes and will receive an additional update should we need to extend our closure as a result of the continued concern surrounding this pandemic. Mahalo for your aloha, especially as Naʻau turns 20 years old this year. This is not a good-bye, but an a hui hou, until we meet again, possibly on June 1, 2020; however, at this time, we are preparing for continued online classes just to be safe perhaps through summer. Unfortunately, our Summer Institutes, Summer Test Prep courses, and Kindergarten Readiness program have been canceled since these are classes that are challenging to deliver privately (one-on-one). It is our hope to offer a few of our Summer Institutes online via Zoom and to reimagine our very popular Kindergarten Readiness program. Please email us at [email protected] or [email protected] if you have questions or concerns. E mālama pono.
Know that we miss all of our Naʻau ʻohana very much. We hope this video will make you smile, and know that as you practice being on your own, you are never too far from our caring thoughts.
