Single Aussie mum earning millions with her acne-curing skincare brand Former acne sufferer Jacine Greenwood started making skincare products from her kitchen bench. Her skincare brand Roccoco Botanicals is now bringing in $4million a year.

Many people are surprised to learn the the product they use labeled non comedogenic is packed full of comedogenic ingredients. Often times it goes further than that with products marketed specifically for acne being a hot comedogenic mess. Other products claim barrier repair without a single ingredient to support Ceramide synthesis or even claim to be for sensitive skin but have a lipid profile that is going to seriously mess up anyone’s skin. It’s frustrating for me but for someone without the ability to decipher ingredients and how products work? It’s designed to be damn near impossible.

Just remember that just because someone came up with a product for skin doesn’t actually mean they know the first thing about skin.

Here are some of the worst offenders I’ve seen but doesn’t really even begin to scratch the surface.

I know some of my Skin Clients have been worried about my future in the Skin business. Well, I am not going anywhere yet and just signed up for a NEW class! I am headed in the direction of more HOLISTIC treatments and soon will be able to offer a new Aging Treatment that will lift your skin and smooth out those wrinkles! Until further notice, I will not be taking on any new clients and will be very limited with current appointments. Being in the business for 10 years has caused a lot of strain on my body and therefore I am giving it a break. At the end of this month, I hope to find some answers with being able to meet with a Rheumatologist. I pray that I will still be able to move forward with doing what I love and open up my own studio!
