Healthy hair starts at the scalp but what about your ends?

You can use all the best products out there but they will never take the place of a haircut. Once your ends start to split or break they just need to be cut.

The longer you wait and put it off the more you will probably need to cut off. We get it, you want it long or maybe you have had some bad experiences and it’s hard to trust someone.

Your hair is your 👑

Depending on your hair and the style you are trying to achieve will depend how often you should come in but we always recommend getting consistent trims. Your hair will look healthier and grow faster. No it’s not actually growing faster but your ends aren’t splitting/breaking so you will reach your desired length while being able to maintain it because it’s healthy 🤗

Meet Rose!

Our newest team member! Rose will be helping out part time on the front desk while she is training as an esthetician. She just got her license last week, congrats Rose!!! We are so excited to have you at Haven and for what’s ahead.

Rose will be training with our master estheticians for a few months but stay tuned for the fall when her books open ✨

Her favorite hobbies are yoga and paddle boarding.

She loves camping, spending time with friends and family, her cat and thrifting.

I have had multiple new guests this week thank me for creating this space and brand. Watching Haven really come to life and be what I had always hoped it would be has been such an honor and so humbling. I thought I knew how much a space like this was needed but each time I hear from all of you I’m just blown away.

Creating a brand and building a business is no easy task but I have always been determined to stay true to myself and to our core values and mission. It has allowed us to attract the most amazing team and they are the original reason I created Haven. For the people in our industry to have a space where they feel supported and cared for so they can give their best selves when serving our community.

I will admit I typically put myself last and haven’t always made sure that Haven is also doing that for me. It’s much easier to make sure I’m doing that for my team and our guests. After a very busy and intense last quarter of 2023 I promised my self in 2024 I was going to take a step back from working in my business so that I could work on it and focus a little more on my health and wellness. I can proudly say Haven feels even more a haven for me now this year. Not just a business that always has so many needs and to dos but a place I can feel supported and loved in. A place that allows me to take a step back and just breathe when I need to.

I am forever grateful for this little brand and its big impact , for this amazing team that supports each other and believes in this brand, and for our entire community that recognizes who we are and what we are about and chooses to support us. It truly means the world 💛 Love you all so much!

🔑CONSISTENCY IS KEY 🔑

We wait until we are desperate and then we expect a miracle or a quick fix, right?! With so many things in life we do this, when consistency is what will bring results.

I was talking with our massage therapist Bianca about our aches and pains we all have on a regular basis. We wait until we really need a massage then expect it to solve everything. She says coming in regularly is what will bring true healing and results. Taking care of ourselves on a regular basis will allow us to function better.

The same goes for our hair, skin and overall health. If we want to see results, then we must take the time and put in the work.
