Being a healthy community is about more than delivering quality health care to residents. Where you live, learn, work, and play all have an enormous impact on your health.

Healthy communities are places where all residents have access to built, social, economic, and natural environments that give them the opportunity to be healthy and live to their fullest potential, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, income, age, abilities, or other socially defined circumstances. Given this relationship of community conditions to our health, it is important to check with residents about their current experiences as well as their perspectives on actions that can sustain and enhance wellbeing into the future.

The Hopkinton Health Services Department is conducting this survey for Hopkinton residents over the age of 18 as part of a strategic planning effort, with the following goals:

Understand the health needs and concerns of Hopkinton residents;
Assist in developing programs and policies to address those needs;
Improve health-related programs and services;
Provide information for city planning processes;
Engage partners, organizations, and individuals in making the vision for a healthier Hopkinton a reality.

This survey will take about 10-15 minutes to complete. All responses are completely anonymous. There are no right or wrong answers; it’s your opinion that matters.

Narcan is the brand name of the medication Naloxone, used to reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. This training provides information to recognize signs of an opioid overdose, when and how to respond, how to administer Narcan and a free kit. The kit includes 2 doses of Narcan, fentanyl test strips, gloves and a cpr face mask.

No registration required and this program is free and open to all. Neighboring towns are welcome !

Join us today at the Hopkinton Senior Center from 1-3 pm for the Healthy Brain Initiative program. There are tons of freebies and snacks available. Come learn about important lifestyle changes needed to protect and improve your brain health!

Pfizer booster are now available for all 12+, 5 months after their last dose. The next available clinic is this Thursday 1/13/2021 from 3pm-6pm at the Hopkinton Town hall. There is also Pfizer 5-11 available at this clinic.
