This week we celebrated National Nursing Home week! We went through the decades from the 50’s to the 90’s! We ate lots of delicious food and listened to some great music!!

We’ve been celebrating the holidays this week and last with special days! Today was pajama day! Tomorrow we will finish off the week with Ugly Sweater day! 🎄

Horseheads High School we can never thank you enough! ♥️♥️♥️ The time and effort you all put forth to make the holidays special for our residents is simply amazing! You truly will never know how much it means to us and our residents! We hope to get some photos and videos of some of the folks opening their things to share with you all! ♥️♥️♥️

A huge heartfelt thank you to Horseheads High School staff and students for thinking of our residents this year! We feel honored and our residents are so grateful for your kindness! ♥️♥️

The activities department hosted a chili cook-off and a dessert bake-off. We had residents and a few staff as the taste testers! Congratulations to Tina in activities for her tasty white chicken chili and Carissa in social work for her delicious pumpkin cheesecake cookies! Everything tasted wonderful! We have some good cooks and bakers around here!! 😋

Happy Halloween from all of us at Elcor! 🎃👻 The residents loved seeing everyone dressed in costumes! The themes were amazing! Great job everyone!! We appreciate you and the residents do too!!!
