We're inviting the older residents of District 17 to a resource fair geared towards their unique needs. We're excited to share state and local programs, provide a vaccine clinic for people looking to get fall vaccines, and offer a light breakfast while supplies last.

We are excited to be partnering with Eric's RX Shoppe again to provide a vaccine clinic at this year’s event! Eric’s RX Shoppe will have Flu Shots, COVID-19 Boosters, and RSV vaccines available, but pre-registration is required for the vaccine clinic. At 2:26 AM on Sunday, June 23rd, three masked men smashed the front glass door and broke into Eric's RX Shoppe. They were in and out of the pharmacy(after grabbing what they wanted) in under 2 minutes and drove away. We are grateful for the quick response of Horsham & Upper Dublin Police Department and have supplied them with whatever they needed to catch these criminals.

Most importantly, everyone is okay. Eric personally made sure to have a new front door installed within a few hours and the store cleaned up. Eric's RX Shoppe will be open for normal business hours on Monday, June 24th with no interruptions to our patients.

The CDC has approved an additional dose of COVID Vaccine for those who meet the criteria listed below.

Eligibility:
-You must be 65 or older
-It must have been 4 months (120 days) since your last vaccine

Since we renovated the Vaccine Clinic and aren’t able to allow kids draw inspiring messages on the walls, we have tried to come up with ideas to keep kids busy and distracted before, during, and after their vaccine appointments. We put connect four on the wall and loaded up with toys/candy. Additionally, we have a been fortunate to receive a beta testing unit of the Nex Playground Gaming System to be released around Christmas 2023. Nex Playground is motion-driven video game console where your movements are what controls the game play. Here are some pictures of children enjoying the system during the vaccination appointment.

Appointment booking for the new Covid-19 Vaccine is now available for those 12 and up. We received SpikeVax (Moderna) and will be starting to administer on Monday, September 18th at 10 AM. Appointments are preferred but walk-ins will be accepted. We will always do our best to bill your insurance, but it is completely out of our control whether they choose to cover any of these vaccines. Yes, the new seasonal COVID vaccines (not a booster) were approved by the FDA today. We expect full approval by the CDC tomorrow. We have been in constant communication throughout the past few months with Moderna and Pfizer; and we should have doses in hand ready to administer in the very near future.

These vaccines, unlike previous COVID vaccines, are no longer free. They are over $130 a shot. We do accept coverage from most insurers and hope they are able to add and cover these new vaccines in a quick and timely manner. Please bear with us as we figure out coverage for anyone who wants this vaccine. We will update our Facebook and website once we can take appointments for the new seasonal monovalent COVID Vaccines. We have flu shots available for anyone 3 and up! It is recommended to get your Flu and COVID vaccine at the same time!
