Jessica Guthrie has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2014 focusing on pain relief to help you THRIVE. Each massage is tailored specifically to your needs based on a brief consultation once you arrive. I incorporate hot towels, stretching techniques, deep tissue, scalp massage, Swedish massage, aromatherapy, or facial massage to create an experience that is truly customized just for you. You will leave feeling healing for the mind, body, and soul.
Massage is a manipulation of the soft tissue of the body (muscle, connective tissues, tendons, ligaments, & skin). Massage can reduce cortisol levels returning the body to a more balanced state. Massage can be used to treat a variety of ailments, including:
Pain, Sciatica, Anxiety, Depression, Injury Rehabilitation, Improve Flexibility and Movement, Reduce Stress, Increase Circulation, Muscle Tension, Fatigue, Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, and Improve Sleep..........just to name a few.

Have you ever been told you have a BEER BELLY?
Recent research in males has shown that as men age and their levels of testosterone decline, their abdominal fat increases. Additionally, testosterone increases the capacity for lipolysis while decreasing the activity of the lipoprotein lipase (LPL) in fatty cells in cell culture.
Whether you accept a beer belly as part of the aging process or fight it every day at the gym, you might be startled to hear that your hormones are to blame for your expanding gut. Hormones are chemical messengers that tell your body to do things like build more muscle. Or fat.
