5. Regardless of your challenges, keep the faith you will get through it.

6. Never stop learning, always strive to gain new knowledge.

7. If you mess up, fess up. Own your mistakes, don’t point fingers and learn your lesson.

8. Do the right thing and make the right decisions that would make you proud in 5 years.

9. Your pride can be your greatest and biggest weakness. Don’t allow your pride to stop you from asking for help.

10. Your squad represents your future. Don’t expect to soar like an eagle if you are quacking around with ducks.

11. It’s alright to have a mentor, but it’s even better to find a coach. A coach will push you to perform outside your comfort zone.

Cadets Visit Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma:

The entire encampment short a few staff members travelled to Altus AFB this morning to walk through a C17A, toured the control tower and to watch a demonstration from the police and fire departments including the working police dogs.

Cadets returned energized from all they had seen, many shared stories of the fire demonstration, and the joys of a day of hands on activities. Thanks for pulling out the stops for us Big Blue!
