As we all know, Covid is raising it’s mean head at a rapid pace. I would ask everyone to please remember how successful Garrett Woods’ staff has been in protecting the residents.

We have an immediate need for a Maintenance Technician. Experience in HVAC, Plumbing, basic carpentry, basic electricity needed. Must enjoy working in Team atmosphere and enjoy pleasing people. Talk about sweet, talk about happy...Barbie and Duke Wells out having lunch! Made it through almost 11 months without COVID-19, made it through their second vaccine.
Raised a beautiful family, influenced many kids in school, football and life and made it through a world wide pandemic. Talk about success!

We made it! We completed our second round of COVID 19 Vaccine. Thank you to our staff for helping us get through this really tough 10 months with a very small number of cases. Because we made it through our first vaccination before having any cases, our residents and staff were able to recover quickly. Thank you to our residents, their families and our staff for continuing to fight the good fight!

Christmas is so about giving, and Garrett Woods has been so blessed with gifts, goodies and thoughts of goodwill. We were exceptionally moved by Piney Grove Methodist Women’s Group with gifts for ALL our Assisted Living Residents. Victoria Riggs’ daughter, Lynn Strong is a member of that group, so we showed her what those ladies did for everyone. Our hearts are filled with gratitude!

Happy Birthday Billie Baston! 96 years young today Despite not able to celebrate with her family due to the restrictions of COVID we made sure she had a pretty cake. Her family sent beautiful flowers and gifts and her Garrett Woods family made sure she knew how much EVERYONE cares about her.
Staying safe during this time is the most important thing we can do, but making memories still must go on! Happy Birthday beautiful lady!
