These students were recognized by their teachers for their exceptional behavior and work ethic during the month of October!

Each student gets a certificate, small medal, prize, and their photo on the Mighty Lions board for all of November!

Today our K4-1st grade got to participate in our Annual Candy Parade! They got to visit the church offices, college offices, and classrooms to show off their costumes and collect candy 💜

Then K4-6th got the opportunity to sit in Officer Hoofman's police car and turn on all the lights and sirens 🚔

Heritage Day is TODAY! We are so excited to watch our students sing and give their speeches!

The PTSA will be hosting a bake sale during the Heritage Day activities! Buy some delicious treats and support our school 💛💜 They will accept cash or cashapp

We love opportunities to learn outside of the classroom! 🫶🏼Today our 6th graders took a trip to the Library and while they were there they got to visit the voting booth and see how the voting process works! They ended their trip with some delicious ice cream! Thank you Mrs.Lydia for an extra fun day of learning!

Welcome to Camp 1st Grade!!!!

Today our first graders decided to transform a regular ole classroom into a campground!

Mrs. Vashey didn't spare any details - tents for each kiddo, nature sounds, stars on the ceiling, and even a kayak!

Congrats to our GLCS Volleyball Team for getting runner up in the HCAA State Tournament!! 🦁

The PTSA is excited to host our annual Luau appreciation celebration social Friday June 14th from 5-7 pm at the Chittum Venue! There will be food, swimming, fun and a summer themed basket giveaway. We had a wonderful time celebrating our Kindergarten students as they graduated and are moving up into grade school. We are so proud of their growth and development. The future is bright for these Lions!

We are so excited about next week! Everything with culminate with Homecoming on Friday, January 19, at 5 pm. Please make plans to attend this event! (Homecoming will be hosted at the Champion Community Center)
