The Hot Springs Iris Society, an affiliate of the American Iris Society,
announces the new location of their 2024 Iris Show, ‘Silhouettes in the Garden,’ this
Saturday, April 20, at Westminister Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall Church,
3819 Central Avenue in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The show is free and open to the
public from 1:00 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Certified judges select horticultural winners of named, locally grown iris varieties.
The public is encouraged to enter the horticultural division at no charge, and Youth
exhibitors are always welcome. Horticulture entries must be received and tagged
between 7 a.m.-9:30 a.m. Saturday.
The Society is proud to be one of only a handful in the country to still feature a
Design Division, “Designing with Iris in the Home”, which requires prior registration
by 6 p.m. Thursday, April 18 th . Please register by email to Adrianne Kahn,
[email protected] or text at 501-525-4484. Please include any space
requirements – we will provide up to 3 - 32” round tables with floor length black
tablecloths for those wanting to do a table setup for 2. Entries can be any style or
design type other than a simple bouquet. Multiple designers can work on one
design and Garden Clubs are encouraged to submit a Club Design. A People's
Choice award will be offered. Show Entries and Admission are free.
Show requirements are in the schedule, available at Adrianne Kahn Fine Jewelry
and Design in Cornerstone Shopping Center at 265 Cornerstone Boulevard off
Central Avenue in Hot Springs. We can also email an electronic copy if needed. All
are urged to participate. Show attendees receive a coupon for a free Iris at the sale
and notice of future shows & sales by email.
*There will be a limited amount of named irises in pots for sale the day of the Show.*
