Welcome Friday, and welcome our pet of the week! This week we have two sweet babies to choose from. They are both from the Hot Springs Animal Shelter.
The pup on the left is Bear Bear. This little guy is about 1 year old. He is a lab mix. Bear Bear gets along with other dogs. And he has a ton of love to give.
The sweet face on the right belongs to Chopper. He is also a Lab mix and he is about 2-3 years old. He is very friendly. And he is on the lookout for a forever home. This beautiful boy is our pet of the week! This is Spot and he is from the Hot Springs Village Animal Welfare League. Spot would love to have a forever home. When he is not modeling for pictures he loves to go for walks and play with his ball. This young pouch is 2 years old and is about 81 pounds Catahoula mix. Spot is very strong and athletic so he would need someone willing to train him and give him plenty of exercise. He would love a home with a large yard with a high fence. He loves kids and other dogs. Wouldn't that face look great on your next family Christmas card? Please come out and meet Spot! We promise you won't be disappointed. Our friend Friday is finally here! You know what that means? It is time for the pet of the week. This week we have a pair of sweet faces looking for a loving home. They are currently with Stop Animal Cruelty. These two are Coco & Sy. They recently became orphans when their owner died. Coco is a 13-year-old Jack Russell mix girl who is bonded with Sy, an 8-year-old Corgi mix boy. Sy is food/ water protective. These two love each other, however, they don't get along with other dogs. They hope to go to a home with someone who spends much time at home. They have been through a great deal and need some serious TLC. They have been spayed and neutered. Happy anniversary Becky!! It seems like just yesterday Becky walked in and signed up to be a part of the team. And it was actually 18 years ago. She started here as the smile in the front office as a receptionist. You've most likely spoken with her about scheduling an appointment for any of our many services. This little firecracker helps out in so many ways. However, her specialty is serving as a liaison between insurance companies and those who have suffered water or fire damage. She is always willing to assist with whatever is needed. She has a contagious smile, as you can see, and we enjoy seeing it every day. Thank you for your numerous years of service to Steamatic. We love you! We appreciate your creativity and how much you care for the company and it's employees. Thanks a million for everything you do!

It is time to share the pet of the week! This week we have a sweet girl Mia from the Guardian Angels Pet Rescue Mia is about 2 years old and is literally the sweetest girl you will ever meet. She loves to play and she loves to cuddle and she loves to love!! Mia came to us pregnant this year and can you believe it, she had 8 kittens!!! Mia was a wonderful mama kitty and still has that mothering instinct when encountering new kittens. Mia wanders the shelter as a house cat so she is often overlooked, but she is available for adoption! She is a wonderful supervisor and keeps us all in check. We wouldn’t be in such good shape without her.

Today is International Friend Day! We want to share this Customer Spotlight from our friend Judy Scott. Judy is not only a customer, but also a friend of ours.

1. Something about you people don't know.
*As a little girl, I used to stand by the television and 'perform' all of the commercials that would play. Is it any wonder that I was drawn to sales and advertising in my later years?

2. We have chosen to feature you because of the special work that you do! Can you tell us what you are currently working on?
*I am currently a contract Sales Consultant for KVRE Radio 92.9 in Hot Springs Village, AR. I will be with them for 30 years next February. I am semi-retired but enjoy helping clients I have been serving for many years and developing new clients too!

3. What's the best advice you can give to someone who just started their career?
*My advice to those who have started a career: Learn all you can about how you can serve people in the work you do and always set goals for your future. Find your passion! I've found that people you 'serve' want to help you reach your goals. I strive to always be professional, kind, understanding, and honest in whatever I do.

4. What is your background and how did you get here today?
*I grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania, in your typical middle class family. Through the years, I've worked in newspaper, radio station operations, furniture sales, PR, and Advertising Director for a regional discount department chain store, direct sales, bank marketing, and cable advertising sales. I was proud to have had an advertising agency for 20 years.

5. What accomplishment are you most proud of?
*Besides being married to my wonderful husband, Jim, of 33 years, a mother of a daughter, three granddaughters, and one great grandson, I have had many wonderful blessings and many tragedies in my life. You just get up and work hard! My greatest accomplishment is I've been successful only because of the Lord's blessings and the people I serve.

I love sharing great reviews from our customers. This one is a particularly special one for me to share with you. I spoke with Mr. Stuart from the start when he called to inquire about carpet cleaning. I am glad that he shared his experience with us. Also, I am happy that he will be using us again. Our goal at Steamatic is to make sure our customers are happy and that we do a great job. We understand that without our customers we would not have a job. And I love to see returning customers. We have a great Employee Spotlight to share with you today! Micah is a great carpet technician. He does an excellent job not only cleaning carpets but also handling tile, hardwood, and upholstery. He loves a good challenge and the customers seem to love him too! Let's take a few moments to get to know Micah better. We asked a few questions and check out his answers.
If you were stranded on a desert island, and could only ask for three things what would they be?
I would need a knife, paracord, and a mirror. The mirror can be used to direct a concentrated beam of light for fire ignition or to signal near by boats and passing planes.
