We are blown away. To be included in this list amongst some incredibly talented chefs and restaurants is such a honor. It is so encouraging, validating and amazing to see that all the hard work we put in daily is seen and acknowledged. Thank you customers, family, staff and for furthering our little dream.

During our travels to Crete this summer, my Aunt made these delectable fritters with zucchini, cheese & herbs. It may have been one of my favorite bites of the whole trip. My Aunt so kindly shared her recipe and we have brought them to the Kriti menu. Introducing, Kolokithokeftedes or squash fritter. They are just the right amount of crisp and creamy especially when dotting them with a bit of tzatziki sauce. Enjoy!

mmm it's a Lamb Wrap kinda day. Slow braised Capra Foods Lamb, tangy pickled carrots, fresh crunchy bell peppers, and of course, plenty of tzatziki sauce.

Wild sage, thyme and oregano grow naturally on the island of Crete. These herbs are so prevalent in all of the food, from a sprinkle on top of dishes to the lamb consuming these herbs to the subtle herbaceous flavors in the wines produced here. Herbs add so much flavor and we are all for it!

Reporting from Crete, Greece where I am so fortunate to be this week. An unforgettable Greek feast from my incredibly talented Aunt Anna. We throughly stuffed ourselves with peperopita (pepper & feta in filo), kolokithopita (zucchini fritters), moussaka, yemista, roast lamb, stuffed tomato, a delicious eggplant and feta dish and so so much more. THIS is the definition of the type of food I wish to showcase at Kriti. Stay tuned, more traditional home style Greek meals to come…
