🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month
The diagnosis of breast cancer can be devastating and the removal of it can result in a disfiguring appearance that is traumatizing. When patients look in the mirror, their scars are daily reminders of the unpredictable future.
I’ve had a patient tell me that she felt embarrassed and hopeless; so much that she gradually lost self-confidence and could no longer look in the mirror.
Our goal is to restore natural form so that every time our patients look in the mirror, they feel feminine and whole again; where they can exude a strong sense of confidence during moments of public appearance and/or private intimacy. We specialize in complex autologous and implant-based reconstruction and use state of the art technology to ensure our patients obtain the best result possible.
We know this journey is very difficult, and we want to be part of it; we are committed to be with you every step of the way — in overcoming the diagnosis, to executing our surgical plan, and throughout the healing (mental and physical) process! 💝
