It’s been said that 77% of ’s were planned at least 7 days & 42% of the actors showed warning signs before the attack? Also, 43% of ’s happen in places of business. This could either be caused by a current employee or previous employee & since workplace violence is on the rise, we should be looking internally at employee warning signs. This obviously starts during the hiring process with regards to having , background checks & drug testing but this type of analysis should not stop after a person is hired. We should be aware of other alert signals or warnings of unusual behavior.

We conducted a security assessment last week and during our assessments, one of the many areas we review are ‘known s*x offenders’ in a 10 mile radius of the location. If you’re working in a school, daycare and/or have children at home, why wait to know who may be causing an issue on your property when you can know ahead of time what they look like? Now, if you see this person on your property, you have a heads up as of why they may possibly be there.

This simple every day carry (EDC) can save lives! If you carry a firearm & are in plain clothes, this concealable yet rapidly visible notification can save your life. Friendly fire definitely kills people & being able to quickly display a customized banner from a concealed pouch on your waist can quickly identify you as a “good guy or gal” if you were ever to find yourself having to draw your weapon.

Please keep in mind that if you’re in plain clothes & drawing your weapon; bystanders don’t know if you are a part of the or not & they may be giving YOUR description when calling the police to report a shooter.

Does your employer provide company swag you find useful?

We’ve been providing employees with multiple items that most find useful to include flashlights, power banks, brass pens, RFID debit card protectors, 1 hour massages, fuel & dinner gift cards to name a few but today we had another contest/swag item added.

Below is a text message that was sent out to all employees. Upon sending, the phone started to sound with replies. Congratulations CSO K. Williams & CSO R. Granados for winning the contest & thank you for reading communications.

“Hello team, This text needs to read in full & the following steps (using your site CSS iPhone) need to be completed on every shift within the first 30 minutes so important information is communicated appropriately.
⁃ Read Pass On Logs (if applicable)
⁃ Check for/Read Texts & reply to text with your initials
⁃ Check for/Read Emails & reply to email with your initials.
⁃ Check for/Read this message in full as the first CSO who respond to this message by texting me the word “communication” will receive an additional bonus
⁃ Later in your shift, read DAR’s from previous shifts from other CSO’s to know what happened on site while you were off.
