Im convinced a blazer goes with everything plus it’s a versatile piece you’ll rewear. The perfect blazers are always found in the thrift store.

I like to try new combos in my closet. It’s the benefit of shopping my closet.
And the items are already there.

I also dress how I feel. And this is how I felt. I wanted to be comfy with layers and wear shorts all without denim to tailor the look a bit.

So professional athleisure it is.

I started with basing the outfit around my shoes with comfort & color scheme.

A hoodie can be paired multiple ways to add some character. A blazer is a good match as well to add a more clean look while staying casual. I like an edge to my look so I paired it with this leather jacket.

I wore this dress once & this blazer the same. When you shop your closet the possibilities are endless when you build the perfect wardrobe for yourself.

You can find so many items that can be worn multiple ways through every season.

I found this purse that was a little out of my norm but I knew it would add as a statement with my wardrobe and it was $2. Then I paired this look with sneakers & 💥 issa look.

Looking good doesn’t have to cost you much at all. Because you make the look and rather it’s repeated, $2 or dressed down personal style is just that. Personal Style!

The thrift store offers soo many amazing finds when it comes to sweaters. This sweater is an oldie found at my favorite thrift store years ago but it’s still soo good and the structure can’t be beat.

Ahhh..Monday is here & it’s back to business! School is around the corner for my 6th grader🥺 and this is our first planned family trip🤗🙏🏾 We had an amazing time this weekend refreshing, laughing, eating & and loving on each other.

And thrifting for vacations is also what I do! So everyone in my family is thrifted with at least one piece of clothing. And with a family of 5 it saves money & we still look good😉 So thrifting at least the basics for everyone comes in handy. I also cook in the room on vacations. (My son has allergies 🤷🏾‍♀️)

Some tips I use for shopping my closet👇🏾

✨ Find my vibe
Before I wear something I need it to match how I feel. And match how I want it to look on my body. So while I’m enjoying my postpartum body I’m staying away from tight dresses. This midsection ain’t ready quite yet.

✨ Dig through my closet to see my options and I’m able to see my closet in a new light.

✨Get creative and use pieces I’ve never worn & match highs with lows.

Anyone else feels this ways when they find a good quality high waist mom Jean. Welp I’m excited because since I’ve been enjoying my postpartum body one of things I’ve missed was my mom jeans and so I had to hunt for more until I get back into my others. And I hit the jack pot with these🤩

I love my denim to be 100% cotton because the quality is endless & they make great for some shorts later.✂️

Also Thrifting while enjoying your postpartum body saves money while you repurchase some of the basics that were in your wardrobe and allows you to have variety on a dime

Quick tip: mom jeans are the perfect go to denim rather postpartum are not. It’s perfect for concealing your mid section while still pulling in your waist line. While still adding comfort. And they can be dressed up or down 👟👡

Anything Im looking for I head thrifting first. Because kids grow to fast and gently used clothes ain’t ever hurt nobody and the price can’t be beat! Plus you find some of the most unique brands with amazing quality for kids that allows you to expand your options when shopping for kids.

My two piece works great for being functional with kids especially boys. So good tip when thrifting is don’t be afraid of the old lady jogger sets because some cute sneakers and a crop top turned this look all around.

Plus when dressing your postpartum body high waist is a win because it conceals & allows you to accentuate your waist line. Which after a baby seems like forever to get back.
