🚗🏙️ Family Adventure in Philly! 🥪🥾

Hey there, friends! 🤗 The Booker family is back from an epic trip to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and we just had to share our incredible experience with all of you!

👪 Meet the crew: Mahogany, Clifton, and our little explorer Xilus! 🌟

🚙 Road Trip: We hit the road from DC to Philly, and let me tell you, it was one unforgettable ride! We drove through underwater tunnels, which was a new experience for native Texans, like Xilus! 🌊

🏡 A Special Connection: I lived in Philadelphia, aka Philly, with my grandmother when I was younger. So this trip was not only about exploring a new city but also revisiting my cherished memories! I was able to get Xilus t stand still for a moment to capture a picture of us on the same stairs I used to play on a a child in front of my grandmother's old house ❤️. I miss her!!!

🥪 Philly Cheesesteaks: Of course, we couldn't miss out on the legendary Philly cheesesteaks! We all headed to a local spot and indulged in these mouthwatering treats! 🤤

🥊 Running the Rocky Stairs: One of the highlights of our trip was visiting the iconic Rocky Stairs, where Sylvester Stallone filmed the legendary movie "Rocky." Clifton and Xilus took on the challenge and raced up those stairs while Mahogany captured the epic moment on video! 🏃‍♂️

💆‍♀️ Rest and Recuperation: I sat this one out due to a pesky headache, but I was the best cheerleader for the boys! 🎉

🌟 Little Explorer Xilus: Our son, Xilus, had an absolute blast on this trip! He soaked in the culture, history, and sights of Philly, and we know this adventure has enriched his perspective on the world! 🌎

Hey friends! 👋 We just had the most amazing family trip to Washington, D.C., and we couldn't wait to share our adventures with all of you! 🥰✨

📍 As many of you know, I hail from the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia areas, and I wanted to take Clifton and Xilus back to where I grew up and where my dad still lives. It was truly a heartwarming experience to revisit my childhood memories and create new ones with our little explorer, Xilus! 💕

👴💙 Spending time with Xilus' grandfather was such a special highlight of our trip. The bond they share is indescribable, and it brought tears of joy to our eyes, witnessing their precious moments together. Grandparents are truly a gift! 🎁

🏰 Our first stop was the amazing Children's Museum, where Xilus had an absolute blast exploring and learning through interactive exhibits. The joy and wonder on his face were priceless! 😄

🛴🏛️ But the real adventure started when we rode scooters downtown, soaking in the historical beauty of this iconic city. We cruised all the way from the monument to the Abraham Lincoln Memorial! 🛴🌆

🙏 Xilus standing in the same place where Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his historic "I have a dream" speech was a moment we'll cherish forever. It was a powerful reminder of the impact of dreams and the progress we've made since that remarkable day. 🗣️🌈

Of all things in my life, I can without a doubt say that it has been the birth of my son that has shaped my strength, perseverance, highest joys, motivation, press harder into who God has me to be ALL so I can be the person I want him to be. I am so glad I went against my feelings about not wanting to take pregnancy pictures so I can look back on them and recall the best pivotal moment in my life.

It's that time of the week again when we dust off our photo albums and dive into the treasure trove of nostalgia. Today, let's take a break from the present and embark on a journey back in time. It's a chance to reminisce, reflect, and celebrate the moments that have shaped us into who we are today.

🌟 I am so appreciative of my Hawaii 🏝 original crew, not limited to those in these pictures or course, to have not only celebrated the coming of Xilus 👼 but having panned the entire event!! We were showered with so many baby boy gifts and some gifts for when he turned 4 years old; thanks, Craig (lol)! We could not have been more happy that day, and oh how much we miss you all!! We have to get all of us in the same location again to turn up!!

So We did A Thing !!!
* We decided to change the direction where all of our family savings 💸 and investments, outside of ur 6-month emergency fund, to a cash flow policy.
* All while so many other major moves were and still are taking place, like planning for our LAST home 🏡 purchase (Yes, out last for real, lol!!), taking care of two family members full time, planning and taking summer vacations for fun and family visits to the DMV, and more
* This would have been done years before now if we had known how it could have helped, but we didn’t know what we didn’t know
* All we did was change where we put our monthly savings, and now we can depend on tax-free future income, interest-free loans to use on our next and last home, Xilus college fund, and our savings growing at a high rate of return without the worry of risky market loses
* Yep, one change will now allow us to build all this, teach our kids how to use it, and pass it on to them to continue in the generational wealth-building fund
