Heart Gallery of Greater Houston is a powerful, traveling photographic exhibit created to ignite awareness and help find forever families for children in foster care. Heart Gallery of Greater Houston is BEAR’s newest program and is one that will change lives forever.

Heart Galleries are a nationwide initiative, directly addressing these children who historically only have a 1% chance of being adopted before aging out of the system.

With a Heart Gallery program in place, the national statistic of these children being adopted changes from 1% to over 60% – and continues to grow.

Today’s pasta making class at Triola's Kitchen. This class was donated to a school that auctioned it off during a fundraising event. 10 adult students learned how to make pasta which was followed up by a pasta marinara dinner.

The vibe was awesome. So relaxed and everyone really engaged with each other and enjoyed the class and dinner.

I had so much fun and we were able to sell wine! We got our beer and wine license last week. Still BYOB but now able to offer it as a convenience.

I feel like this is something we should start offering.

We are continuing to offer our HRW menu in September to support the Houston Food Bank In August we sold 207 HRW meals which means we’re donating $1,450 to the food bank!
