Should I buy a home now or wait a year?

Should I buy now or wait?

Let’s talk about the risk/reward of buying a home now vs. waiting a year.

I can’t predict the future, but here’s some handy info that may help you.

If the experts are correct, mortgage rates will slowly rise between this year and next year.

If the experts are correct, home appreciation value will continue to increase.

What you could afford today may decrease as mortgage rates rise.

The home you’re looking at today, may be worth more a year from now.

I’m super simplifying here, but combine these two things, if you wait a year, your price range is potentially decreasing while the homes you want to buy are getting more expensive.

The flip side is, inventory is lower than normal right now. By next year, there’s a strong likelihood you’ll have more homes to choose from.

Just food for thought.

I never encourage making big decisions until we’ve reviewed your unique situation.

You don’t need to buy scared, but you should buy educated.
