A group under the Rice Club Sports that practices Chayon-Ryu martial arts twice a week in order to improve mental and physical health.

Rice Karate Club practices Chayon-Ryu, a system of martial arts founded in 1968 by Grandmaster Kim Soo, a tenth-degree black belt. Chayon-Ryu, Korean for "The Natural Way," is based on the idea that self-defense should utilize only natural movements.
