Iβm finally able to stand and walk without assistance. The problem with that? Iβm struggling to βtake it easy.β Iβm a type A personality who is now pain free. I want to conquer the world and do everything I couldnβt do before. HELP! π€¦πΌββοΈ
THANK YOU for all the prayers and well wishes. Your support means so much to me.

Iβve been a ball of emotions this week. Iβve laughed, cried, felt sorry for myself and have asked God to give me the strength to keep fighting the fight.
Tomorrow I will undergo another painful surgery followed by 6-8 weeks of recovery.
THANK YOU for all the texts, calls and well wishes. Your support means everything to me and my family.

Endo Battle Story: Shawnda McNeal Our Founder shares her endometriosis battle story. Read, share, and maybe consider sharing your own story?
Endo Battle Story: The Endometriosis Pain Started When I Was 13 - Braave, Inc. I was 16 years old when I was first officially diagnosed with Endometriosis. In 2003, at age 13, I got my very first period. That is when the pain started. It was absolutely unbearable! The cramps I had literally made me vomit everyday for the 5 days my period lasted. Being thirteen my mom thought β¦

Braave, Inc. - Inpsiring bravery and providing support to women battling endometriosis Inpsiring bravery and providing support to women battling endometriosis
You guys...
I want to personally apologize for disappearing these last few months. We hit a couple of major life hurdles and, well, we just needed all the extra time and resources we could muster.
First, back in April, I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis.
At that time, you may have noticed a slight dip in Braave activity as my husband and I worked to navigate a second autoimmune disorder.
THEN...In July, I lost my job.
And since my husband put all his career eggs into my career basket, we were left with no income.
Long story short, we've relocated 1,000 miles north, hustled a bit, and are now just now getting back on our feet.
Regarding Braave, we've been working behind the scenes, re-aligning things a bit, and moving to position Braave to help women with endometriosis on a wider scale than we previously imagined.
And not just WOMEN with endo, but other endo organizations as well.
We'll reveal more in the next few days.
We've got some more work to do, but wanted you to know that we're here, we're doing awesome, and haven't bowed out of the Endo Fight.
Love you :)
- Shawnda McNeal
After publishing a couple dozen of these stories, I've come to understand how difficult it is for you all to share, but man, if you'd see the emails from women you've helped by being willing to do so...It's incredible.
Great job by Bern and the Knock Out Endo folks.
Kimberleigh's story My Endometriosis story I got my first period when I was 10. I remember being so excited as I was officially a grown up (if I'd known then that being an adult meant being tired all the time and...
What do you think? Sums it up nicely, right?

Not Braave or Endo related, but I thought some of you hyster-sisters could relate.
Plus, I know it helps me to have some fun every so often :)

Shawnda's Uterus cake at her 2013 Uterus Going Away Party before her Hysterectomy.
Yep. I have stage 4 Endometriosis. Yep. I had a hysterectomy and cannot have anymore children. Yep. It makes me sad and I've cried for hours over it. Yep. I wiped those tears for a couple of hours and threw myself a "Uterus Going Away" party. Yep. I (my friend Marcy) found a sick individual to make this uterus cake for me. Yep. I always try to find a little bit of humor during a sad situation. Braave
