I am waiting to decide final judgment as to the arrest of students protesting at The University of Texas until I have more information, but it sure looks like these arrests are improper. If you are in that situation and the police detain/arrest you, stay calm - do not argue or resist. You can continue the fight later in court.

Hey guys, we need to do another FB contest!! This contest will be a 2-for-1 in that the first winner will get 4 Tickets to see Oliver Anthony on Tuesday, March 5th and the second winner selected will get 4 tickets to see Jelly Roll.

This contest will be super easy - all you need to do is write 1 or 2 sentences about your best experience at a previous Houston rodeo. It could be seeing a certain band, or watching the mutton-busting or maybe even your favorite food you like to eat at the rodeo! And if you have never been to a HLSR before, that is ok...just let us know what experience you are looking forward to the most.

I will end the contest on Friday at 5pm and I will announce the winners sometime before Saturday at 5pm (hopefully much earlier). Remember that if you win, DM me your email so that I can electronically transfer the tickets.

You can only enter one time and once I have collected the names of everyone who timely entered, I will do a random drawing just like we have been doing.
