Meet Penny!
This little Penny turned up down on her luck in a shelter. She was too thin, she was scruffy, and she was robbed of some of her puppyhood. We think that at some point, at least for a time, she was someone's little princess. Do you recall the story of "A Little Princess"? It could be her story. She is a nice little girl who has clearly had a nicer lifestyle at some point.

Penny loves all people, big and small. She only wants to be with you to make her happy. She is content in her crate, in the Goldilocks way—it needs to be situated just right, then she is so comfortable. She loves her Penny-sized Lambchop—it is her woobie, it is her playmate. She has nice leash skills, and loves to learn with you, if only you will engage her in a trick/game/lesson. She does live with 5 other dogs and has settled nicely with them, she is one of them, but she would really prefer to be an only princess. She snuggles, she sploots, she plays. She likes to run, ride in the car, and most importantly, go/be with you. She is a life companion. Won't you be her special someone?

We estimate her to be about 1 yr old. Penny has been through some basic training and is healthy, heartworm-negative, spayed, and current on vaccinations. Her best home will be one with at least one person at home, with some time to give upfront to continue to work on her getting comfortable in a new home, as one would with a new youngster, as well as someone able to provide some moderate activity. Her activity level, compared to other Dals her age is not high, but let us not forget that she is a young Dal. Penny is quite petite, about 36lbs, black spotted female, 1 blue eye, one brown eye-so striking. Her new home will need to be a detached living space, with a secure yard. Marshall is still looking for his forever home 🏡 he is a 2 year old neutered male Dalmatian who is heartworm negative and has his vaccines. He is a sweet good boy who has come a long way in the 2 months that he’s been staying with us. He loves playing with other dogs big and small. He is doing great with the kids as well. Constantly showering them with kisses and laying by them on the couch 🥰 he is also an athlete and a fast runner. He would love a owner who will keep up with his daily runs. He is potty trained and will happily sleep in a crate, but does great out of the crate too. I’m so proud of his progress and I know he will be such a good boy for the perfect home 😍

Miku (mee•koo) 🐾

RCDR’s newest foster pup, Miku, is a 1.5 year old, petite female. She is super cute and cuddly! She’s HW-, current on vaccinations, microchipped, and will be spayed soon.

Miku had at least one litter of puppies before coming to rescue. She is very motherly with other animals.

Miku LOVES cats! She wants to play, cuddle and groom them. If you ever wanted a dog who would grow up to be BFFs with a cat, here is your chance. Miku loves the kitties! ❤️🐈‍⬛

Her second favorite thing is food. She is very motivated by treats. She will snag food from the counter if left unsupervised. She gets very excited at meal time and sits pretty to be served.

Miku’s foster home has large and medium sized dogs, shy and diva cats. She loves the kitties even though they don’t all feel the same way. Miku has been around toddlers and teenagers. She is great with the kids in her foster home.

Miku had a few potty accidents her first day but none since. Her foster mom is home during the day so Miku has access to the yard all day. She follows the lead of her foster siblings who ring a bell to be let outside.

She mostly lounges in the office while her foster mom works. She likes to look out the window, play with her foster siblings and tries very hard to get the cats to engage in play. She is not a fan of being left crated alone. I don’t blame her.

Miku is very smart. She likes the dog puzzle games and figures them out pretty quickly. She loves car rides. She gets super excited when the leash comes out, as she enjoys walks. She is very observant of her surroundings. Miku will locate breeches in your fence. She let us know a picket needed to be replaced. Miku is a little unsure when initially meeting new dogs but warms up quickly.

She is beautiful, loving, and intelligent, what more could you ask for!? Miku is one of those dogs who is pretty well rounded. She is a Velcro dog, meaning she will follow you around. She likes companionship from people, dogs and cats.

Hello my name is Marshall, and I'm fostered in Alice, Texas (West of Corpus Christi).
I was found roaming the streets of south Texas and a sweet lady took me in and has been keeping me safe for the past 3 weeks. I had several injuries that are healing nicely. I have also come along way emotionally. When I first came to my foster home I was extremely scared and shut down. It took several days for me to finally wag my tail. She has helped me build confidence and become a happy little pup. I am estimated to be 2 years old and although l am intact will be neutered on the 20th of September. I really love people and get attached very fast to my favorite person. I will watch every move you make and will even accompany you to the bathroom!
would probably do best in a home without young children as their quick and loud tendencies can sometimes put me on edge. I also would prefer a home with no other dogs. The dogs in the home are nice, but want to be the alpha and hog all the love and attention for myself. I can get aggressive with other dogs if I feel jealous or challenged. I sleep well out of the crate and although I am a professional counter surfer, I don't destroy things.I LOVE running outside, in fact my foster mom has been taking me for 3 mile runs daily and it helps me be a calm good boy at home. She is even teaching me to use the treadmill! I

UPDATE DOTTY IS ADOPTED!

Dotty is in need of a new home, she's currently located in Stafford Texas.
She is very sweet and good with kids, likes walks and treats. She has had some training but is still learning as she is only 9/10 months old. She is smart but can be stubborn. She does not get along with other dogs at this time. Dotty is crate trained.
I am physically unable to care for her at this time as she is very active. Her shots are up-to-date and she is chipped and spayed.

Meet Echo!

Echo is a beautiful 18-month-old Dalmatian who is full of energy and love. She’s up-to-date on her vaccinations, spayed, and ready to find her forever home!

Echo is a friendly, well-mannered pup who loves children, though due to her rambunctious nature, she would do best in a home with kids over 12. She’s crate-trained, enjoys her leash walks, and knows basic commands like "sit," "down," and "off."

Echo is also good with cats, although she’s a bit timid around them, and she has lived with a smaller dog before. However, she may be more comfortable with a dog that matches her size and energy level.

While Echo is a loving and playful companion, she does have a mischievous side—she has a habit of eating socks! This curious behavior has led to one surgery due to an obstruction, so she’ll need a home that’s diligent about keeping socks and other small items out of reach.

Echo currently lives outside during the day and comes inside at night, so she may need a bit of work on housebreaking. With patience and consistency, she’ll quickly adapt to her new routine.
