UPDATE: We’ve been operating from a generator at the Caroline Street Clinic for the last several days. We are nearly out of fuel and are unsure when we can expect a refill. We are closing the clinic for the rest of the afternoon, with the potential of diverting all patients tomorrow to Cathedral Clinic. Thank you for your patience as we strive to continue to provide care to those in need!

07/08/2024

Unfortunately, we will not be able to open our clinics on Tuesday. We plan to resume regular hours on Wednesday, and hope everyone has a safe and dry place to be.

In the meantime, we’ve updated our website with weather resources including one indoor shelter location at 6006 Northwest Fwy.

Today, we celebrate Juneteenth. As we reflect on this historic day, let’s also acknowledge the ongoing fight for racial equity and justice.
Racial disparities continue to affect many areas of life, including homelessness. Black Americans are disproportionately represented among the homeless population, a stark reminder of the systemic inequalities that persist.

Let’s commit to creating a more equitable society where everyone has access to safe housing, opportunities, and the respect they deserve. Together, we can work towards a future where freedom truly means freedom for all.

06/17/2024

Homeless Success Day is almost upon us! Join us in honoring the resilient achievement of individuals who have overcome homelessness. Their stories of perseverance and strength, and inspire us all. Together, we can continue to support an empower those on their journey to success.

This Monday, the Supreme Court will hear the most significant case about the rights of people experiencing homelessness in decades. Amidst the worsening affordable housing crisis, they will determine whether a local government can arrest or fine people for sleeping outside when adequate shelter is not available. Please join us in educating yourself and others about this critical issue, and encourage your local, state, and federal representatives to stand against policies that criminalize those who are struggling to survive.
