We initially planned for a purple transformation, but due to the existing color (we did a strand test), we opted for this radiant magenta pink hue, and girl, are we glad we did! 🙌😍

Transforming your hair with vivid colors is an art, but it’s also high maintenance! Whether it’s a full bleach out or a balayage vivid, you need to keep in mind the upkeep. Full bleach outs require maintenance every 2 to 3 weeks, and vivid tints can fade out between 4-8weeks!

My client came to me wanting a change from her solid and bright hair. She desired a more natural and dimensional look that would complement her features. After carefully assessing her hair and discussing her preferences, I decided to incorporate low lights and bring up her highlights to create the perfect balance.

To achieve the desired effect, I strategically placed low lights throughout her hair. These darker shades added depth and richness, creating a seamless transition between her natural color and the highlights. By carefully selecting the low lights, I ensured they complemented her and blended harmoniously with her existing hair color.

Throughout the process, I paid close attention to maintaining the integrity of her hair. This way her hair remained healthy and shiny, enhancing the overall result of the balayage transformation.

This was such a special appointment for me. My beautiful client is engaged and she allowed me to get her ready for her engagement shoot! As you can see she was thrilled and looked extra gorgeous!!!

Making Changes

My gorgeous niece came in wanting more brightness. At her last appointment, we introduced her to balayage. This time we added brighter pieces using a foilyage technique. Then we made a last minute decision to chop her hair. Doing this allowed her to let go of her old color (it was kinda hindering the overall look) and her color was able to pop more!

Gimme All the Pink!

My gorgeous babe here came in for her wedding hair color. She wanted all the pink vibes and thats what she got! Can you tell she was super excited!

This was first time ever doing a fun color 😱 She came in with virgin locks and walked out as a blue Rapunzel!!!! I used a mixture of Nightfall, indigo & conditioner to create this badass blue! Afterwards I styled her using my iron and set it with my fave dry texture spray by

Omg! When .face came in and said she wanted purple and orange hair 😱 I was thrilled! We used for the purple with a few dabs of blue in there….& for the orange tips. This definitely gave us spooky 👻 vibes and we were in love!

A Fierce Transformation!

My amazing client was ready for a change! She came in and told me to chop her hair off 😳I was a bit hesitant but she told me to just go for it!! After I refreshed her red headed locks and styled her with my new fav flat iron by 🤩 (video of this transformation coming soon😉)

Today marks 2 years since I’ve been with and almost 3 years since I’ve been behind the chair!

I’m super grateful for all the beautiful clients that have came and supported me. Y’all are what keeps me going.

So to celebrate here are the 3 things I’ve learned from being behind the chair!

1. You are going to make mistakes! It’s ok! The best way to handle that is own up to it, & learn from it.

2. Quit comparing yourself to other people! You will reach your goals when it’s time. There are people that have been working at their goals a lot longer than you have. Give yourself a break.

3. It’s balayage, not bowlyage, not baylage……BAYLAYAGE 🤣🤣🤣🤣

It had been a little less than a year since I’ve seen this gorgeous babe! Her hair grew out so well (yay me!)

Last time we did a rose gold look (scroll down a bit) This time we decided to keep it simple and dimensional. Ultimately I gave her a clean canvas for her to add in her own pops of colors with a recommended color depositing conditioner. If you got your fun colors done by me, you know what I always suggest.

When your hair goals are reached, you can’t stop smiling!

My girl here was trying to reach this level of brightness, and after 2 sessions we were able to achieve that! Patience is 🔑 and so is trusting your stylist. You can tell by my girl’s smile that she was definitely pleased and so was I!

Under Promise-Over Deliver

Have you ever heard that phrase before? It’s something that I live by in my work. When you sit in my chair and have this goal of what you want your hair to be, I will burst that bubble. It’s not to be mean but it’s giving you the realistic expectation of what could possibly be achieved that day.

My gorgeous client here went blonde for the first time ever! She had never colored her hair, it was a perfect canvas for me. However, in our consultation I told her that blonde might not be achieved today due to many factors and that she would need to be ok with walking out with a more subtle look. Fortunately, the hair gods were with us and her hair lifted beautifully for her to leave the salon with blonde hair. She was in love and so was I!

Now does this always work out like this? No. Sometimes you have to go through the process and trust the journey to achieve your hair goals. Remember to talk and communicate thoroughly with your stylist and trust them!
